Whole Heart Ranch Project
The Whole Heart Ranch Project is a way for the teachings at the ranch to reach a broader audience, and for the Horses to be able to sustain themselves through storytelling. The idea is to use the horses as characters in a kid’s book, and the horses demonstrate multiple aspects of what we teach on the ranch through the book. Along with the book is a plushie of chance.
Whole Heart Ranch is a non-profit sector of the ranch that focuses on the rehabilitation of rescued horses. Whole Heart has a donation program that allows people to make a monthly or yearly donation by “Adopting” one of the horses. The Plushie allows for people who would like to donate on a smaller scale. All proceeds from the book and the Plushie will go to the non-profit.
Healing Hooves: Chance
Chance Is the newest member of Whole Heart Ranch, But he’s never been away from his Owner Gemma. Gemma is the only one who knows how to calm him down when he gets scared and nervous and he is not sure how he will handle a new owner and make friends at the ranch with out her!
Chance slowly gets to know his new pals and new owner Sarah. Every thing is fine until one day a storm comes through the ranch and Chance and his friends are stuck and in Danger, and chance starts to panic. What does chance do?
Chance the Plushie
Along with the book, kids can buy the main character and play along with the story. Chance the plushie is hand-sewn and comes with a tag introducing himself.
You are also able to “Adopt” Chance for a set price. All proceeds go to Whole Heart Ranch non-profit.
